Preparations...

The Haberdashers' family of schools worked hard preparing for the Lord Mayor's Show. See how they got on below:

Pupils in Monmouth School for Boys’ Jazz Orchestra (MOJO) will be delivering a 30-minute set in Paternoster Square from 1350....

...while dancers and musicians from Monmouth School for Girls will be performing in the street parade.

... and pupils at Monmouth School for Boys have been working collaboratively to produce wonderful, vibrant scales for the Welsh Dragon. Inspired by Welsh artist Mary Lloyd, the Year 9 artists used a range of techniques, including stencilling, to add Celtic Knot designs and their own names using ancient Welsh alphabets.

Meanwhile, over in South East London, the Aske Federation is focusing on big props and lots of colour! Look out for Haberdashers' Aske's Knights Academy Steel Band playing at Cheapside at 1030, and Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College and Haberdashers' Aske's Crayford Academy marching in the parade with their samba band and flag procession.

Catch Haberdashers' Abraham Darby Showband in Paternoster Square at 1225 and Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School Big Band at 1500...

... and Haberdashers' Aske's School for Girls Street Performers and Haberdashers' Adams Taiko Drum Band in the procession:

Many thanks to all of you from all at the Haberdashers' Company - it was a fantastic day!
