The Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation schools have moved incredibly quickly and efficiently to distribute 800 laptops and iPads to their disadvantaged pupils who have been learning remotely over lockdown. 

In addition to this, 365 laptops have now been deployed to staff so that they can work remotely in order to provide excellent online teaching and support for pupils. As well as the national support from the Department of Education to provide these devices, Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation also purchased 300 laptops and 60 iPads of the total distribution.

The Federation is immensely proud of its pupils and staff for responding so quickly to the challenges of remote learning and teaching and particularly the rapid deployment of IT equipment. It wants its pupils to be happy, safe and able to learn successfully within a supportive environment, whether physically in school or learning at home.

Responses from staff and pupils have been overwhelmingly positive, with many very happy recipients of their new equipment.
