Haberdashers' Crayford Academy

Ruya is a Solicitor Apprentice, currently sitting in the Brands team at Mishcon de Reya. “Securing my apprenticeship role has been a great experience and I am learning every day,” she says. “A typical day for me involves dealing with various issues concerning trademarks such as publishing, registering, adding/removing deadlines, sending out and drafting certificates and ensuring that I am continually liaising with my team. In 2022, my routine will slightly change as I will be balancing work and my law degree.”
Ruya says she “thoroughly enjoyed” studying History, Government and Politics and English Literature at A Level. “My hope for the future is to qualify as a Solicitor through my apprenticeship programme and make sure I have a good work life balance throughout.”
