12 daring Haberdashers take on Tough Mudder 2025!
I am hugely excited to be launching the very first Master’s Challenge – an annual event to raise much needed funds for the important work of the Haberdashers’ Foundation.
Many of you already give regularly, through Habs 1448, to the Haberdashers’ Foundation. Our Foundation helps to fund projects such as the Habs Aspire mentoring programme for Haberdasher Sixth Formers. In the past it has funded Adapt and Thrive, the alternative provision support at Haberdashers’ Abraham Darby. Projects such as these transform young people’s lives, empowering them to fulfil their potential and find their place in the world.
Each year the ‘Challenge’ itself will change, and this year a group of 12, extremely daring Haberdashers will be taking on the legendary Tough Mudder obstacle course, on my behalf!
This September, Erin Willard, Alex Craig, Jake Horton, Winnie Baffoe, Archie Randall, Chelsea Mather, Hebe Booth, Roddy Barrow, Charlie Barrow, Hector Elliott, Reuben Nehikhare, and Alex South (a member of the staff team), will be battling the elements as they make it around the course as Team Habs!
Over the coming months we will be hearing more about their training schedule and the challenges they face as they prepare for September’s big race.
I am asking each of you to please dig deep and give as generously as you can to support these amazing Haberdashers who are doing us all very proud indeed!
There is one shared JustGiving page for the whole Company, with a 10k target HERE.
Wishing the very best of luck to our competitors as they begin their training!
Let the games begin…
