The Haberdashers’ Company awards grants to the value of £70,000 each year to those pursing a career in our ancient trade of ‘haberdashery’. Today’s industries of fashion and textiles can trace their lineage back to many of the original trades of the ancient Livery Companies who once presided over them.
The Haberdashers’ Company supports development and learning at London College of Fashion (LCF), University of Arts London (UAL) and Cockpit Studios, to name just some of partners in this area.
The Haberdashers’ Scholarship of £18,300 is available to one student enrolled on one of the following courses at London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London: MA Fashion Futures; MA Artefact; MA Fashion Design Technology (Menswear); and MA Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear).
The 2024/25 Haberdashers’ LCF Scholarship has been awarded to Charlene Louise Lynch, MA Fashion Futures.
The scholarship of £18,300 will provide much needed financial relief and will enable Charlene to thrive throughout her studies as she keeps skills, including forms of Haberdashery, alive.
Meet Charlene Louise Lynch: a visionary, blending creativity with critical thought to reshape the industry’s future.
