Even some rather wet and soggy weather fit for an English summer didn’t stop our brave competitors from giving it their all.
We were delighted to return to Oxford for the 7th edition of the Haberdashers’ Athletics Tournament this year. Students from Year 7 to Year 10 gave us all a lesson in staying strong under adverse conditions during the annual even – part of the Haberdashers’ Advantage Character programme.
This year’s event showcased talent from 8 of the Company’s
schools, battling for supremacy in their age group and hoping to break the records established in the previous 6 editions of this competition.
From track to relay, high jump to hurdles, field to long jump, our young people did themselves extremely proud in the face of lashing wind and rain.
How such fast times were achieved in the rain is close to a miracle!
Congratulations go to all involved, but particularly to Haberdashers’ Adams and Haberdashers’ Hatcham.

Education
This year's athletics shows the talent, sportsmanship and perseverance of haberdasher students as they persisted with enthusiasm even in heavy rain! This event is an opportunity for students from across the family of schools to socialise and compete, increasing their understanding of the wider Haberdasher family and celebrating their sporting prowess.
