Our dynamic mentoring programme for Haberdashers’ sixth formers connects them with professionals from our extensive membership and community networks. Habs Aspire aims to build confidence, increase awareness of different career paths, and give students practical advice and support as they move into the wider world. Together, we can equip the next generation to succeed.
The one consistent message we get from our students when we ask them how we can improve our events is that they want more – another night, to meet up with the same students again, other sectors. There is a limit to what we can do with events, so we need to find additional ways to meet this need.
The Aspire mentoring programme is designed to address this challenge. In time, we aim to provide a professional mentor to each of our sixth form students.
