7 RIFLES is one of the two Army Reserve battalions of The Rifles and has company locations in Ox, Bucks, Berks, Wilts and London. 7 RIFLES has a proud record of achievements that include recent operational tours to Afghanistan in support of the regular Rifles battalions. The Battalion is structured into sub units called companies which are located in Reading (HQ), Abingdon (A) and London (F & G).
The affiliation with F Coy, 7th Bn, The Rifles goes back to 1937 when the Company adopted the Queen Victoria's rifles. Members of the Haberdashers' Company and of F Company attend events held by the other throughout the year. Each year the Haberdashers' Company presents a prize to the junior rifleman who makes the greatest contribution to F Company in the year.
